What Makes This Risotto So Special?

This risotto is special because it's both fancy and simple. You only need a few basic ingredients to make something that tastes like it came from a restaurant. The rice gets so creamy, and the chicken and broccoli make it a complete meal in one pot.
Why You'll Love This Recipe

When I made this dish, I got really excited because it has chicken and broccoli - two things I really like in my food. The best part? When I finished cooking, it tasted exactly how I hoped it would! The rice is creamy, the chicken is juicy, and the broccoli stays nice and green.
What Do I Need To Make This Recipe?

Before you start cooking, make sure you have everything ready. Here's what you need:
1 stick of butter
Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
Risotto rice
White cooking wine
Chicken broth
Fresh broccoli florets
Onion, chopped
Minced garlic
Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil
Salt & Pepper
How Do I Cook This Risotto?
Making risotto is like telling a story - it happens one step at a time. The key is to be patient and keep stirring. Your arms might get a little tired, but the yummy result is worth it!
The Important Steps

First, we melt butter in a big pot over high heat. This is where the magic starts! Then we add chicken to cook it a little bit. The rice goes in next - we want it to get a little toasted. This makes it taste extra good.
The fun part comes when we add the white cooking wine. It makes a nice sizzling sound! Then we start adding warm chicken broth, little by little. This is how we make the rice get super creamy.
Do You Have Any Helpful Tips?
Here are some tips to make your risotto turn out great:
Keep the broth warm while you cook. Cold broth will make the rice cook slower.
Only lightly salt the chicken before cooking it. The chicken broth will add additional salt.
Stir the rice often. This helps it release its starch and get creamy.
Add the broccoli at the end so it stays bright green and a little crispy.
Let the risotto rest for 5 minutes before you serve it. This makes it even creamier!
